Q: Where do you have your prints produced?
A:
printpartner.ca produces all my prints. I can personally vouch for
their quality and efficiency. It is paramount that the finished quality
of my work represents all the work that went into it prior to printing.
Q: Can you ship internationally?
A: Absolutely, though right now due to the various shipping costs involved in this please contact me directly through the contact page to arrange this.
Q: Please explain the different printing formats that you have available.
A:
Canvas
- Classic wall mount canvas looks bold and textured. Canvas step out
from the wall on a wooden mount creating a 3d piece of art. Frames are
available and custom fit for any size.
Metal
- Printed directly onto aluminum, metal prints can be the most powerful
format. Personally I have found it works best with brighter images as
darker elements in a photograph can create some reflection. Images
appear crisp and sharp and can leap out from the wall. Scratch and
moister resistant, metal is probably the most durable format available.
Baryta Paper - This is my favourite Paper medium. It is the heaviest paper available to me and gives a dense rich look to images. The sharpness is unmatched by any other paper that i've experienced so far. Black and white looks exceptional on this format.
Q: I want a print or a format that isn't listed on your website
A: Just use the contact me form on this site or reach out to me through my Facebook business page Tom Weager Photography.
Q: Can you explain your prices?
A:
Pricing art is possibly one of the most challenging things an artist
has to deal with. I've calculated my prices to include production costs,
website hosting fees and then my artistic license. I pay the bills with
photography and while some of these shots were "fired from the hip" as I
was out pursuing other interests, most of the time I plan a photo and
then go out and try to work it. This takes time, energy and of course
all the very expensive gear, gas and home bills that go with it.
